The opening ceremonies for the 2023 Qinchuangyuan Talent Summit Forum and Qinchuangyuan's Talent Week were held on March 20 in Xixian New Area, a national development zone that is co-built by Xi'an and Xianyang in Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

The Qinchuangyuan platform is innovation-driven and is an important carrier to promote the transformation of Shaanxi from a province of science and education to a province of innovation.

At the forum, the global talent seeking list for the on-site general window of Qinchuangyuan was released, involving more than 400 enterprises and key employers in Xixian that are looking to recruit 25,000 talents from all over the world.

Xi'an Jiaotong University, the management committee of Xixian, and the management committee of Fengxi New City signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote the transfer and incubation of scientific and technological achievements, as well as to build a hub for talent gathering.

Xixian, as the general window of Qinchuangyuan and a provincial-level talent development and reform pilot area, has achieved exponential growth in the number and quality of talent.

In 2022, the number of Xixian's newly introduced high-level talents increased by 195 percent year-on-year.

Additionally, the numbers of new sci-tech achievement transformation enterprises, small and medium-sized technological enterprises and national high-tech enterprises in Xixian New Area were 2.5 times, 2.4 times and 2.2 times that of 2021 respectively.
