On Feb 24, the night of the traditional Lantern Festival, the Kunming Lake • Qixi Park in Xi'an was ablaze with lights and bustling with visitors, creating a magnificent scene.
The Kunming Lake Ancient-style Lantern Festival opened on Feb 2 and will last until May 31.

In the park, the old-fashioned lanterns sway in the wind, adorning the park with a riot of colors. Young women dressed in hanfu, traditional Chinese-style clothing, strolled along the lantern-lit corridors, pausing to contemplate or quietly discuss lantern riddles.
"Here, not only can you admire the lanterns and guess riddles, but you can also stroll through an ancient-style market to appreciate the intangible cultural heritage and taste delicious food. It feels like traveling back to ancient times," said a visitor.

At the event, riddles featuring "dragon"-related idioms and word puzzles attracted people of all ages to eagerly gather, heightening the festive atmosphere.
Furthermore, a series of exciting activities, such as traditional Chinese dances, bridge-crossing with lanterns, river lantern blessings, and intangible cultural heritage performances, captivated the audience.
