The branch venues of the 2024 Spring Festival Gala, organized by China Central Television, were announced on Jan 4.

Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, has been chosen as a sub-venue of the gala that will help to bring Chinese people around the world a cultural feast on Chinese New Year's Eve, along with Shenyang in Liaoning province, Changsha in Hunan province, and Kashgar in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

The Spring Festival Gala crew will create a festive and warm atmosphere by emphasizing the unique historical highlights and regional characteristics of each branch venue.

Yao Lijun, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Xi'an Municipal Committee and director of the Xi'an municipal publicity department, said that Xi'an has a rich history, a profound cultural atmosphere, vigorous scientific and technological innovation capabilities, and rapidly developing modern industries.

It is believed that Xi'an will present a Spring Festival cultural scene through wonderful performances, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere.
