Locals and tourists can appreciate the exquisite lanterns in the area between the Wenchang Gate and the Zhuque Gate. These lanterns not only build up anticipation for the Spring Festival, but they also allow tourists to experience the unique charm of a traditional Chinese festival.
This year's Xi'an City Wall Lantern Festival will set up four major lantern areas that display nearly 20 sets of lanterns, all with distinctive characteristics to commemorate the Year of the Dragon.

The Xi'an City Wall Scenic Spot is planning to livestream its lantern festival alongside other locations, such as Zhengding, Nanjing, Kaifeng, Xiangyang, Jingzhou, and Zhaoqing.
The lantern festival is also making great efforts to delve into the Chinese New Year culture and poetry culture. Classic ancient poems will be integrated with traditional lantern-making techniques to create a festive and cultural atmosphere.
