Committee members attended the fourth session of the 15th Xi'an Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), which closed on March 26 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province. Wang Jide, chairman of CPPCC Xi'an Municipal Committee, presided over the closing ceremony.

During a speech, Fang Hongwei, secretary of the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee, said that 2024, the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, was a year for Xi'an to overcome difficulties and strive for development.
Over the past year, the city has made solid strides in promoting the Chinese path to modernization. CPPCC members sought development, provided suggestions, and made important contributions to Xi'an's economic and social development.
Speaking at the session, Wang Jide stated that this year is for formulating the 15th Five Year Plan and an important year for further deepening reforms. He called on members to make greater contributions to promoting the Chinese path to modernization in Xi'an under the leadership of the CPC Xi'an Municipal Committee.
