The third session of the 15th Xi'an Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Feb 1.

The conference was chaired by Lu Kai, vice-chairman of the CPPCC Xi'an Committee, while Wang Jide, chairman of the CPPCC Xi'an Committee, delivered a work report on behalf of the Standing Committee of the 15th Xi'an Municipal Committee of the CPPCC.

The conference first reviewed the agenda of the third session of the 15th Xi'an Municipal Committee of the CPPCC.

Wang Gugen, vice-chairman of the CPPCC Xi'an Committee, reported on the work done by the Standing Committee of the 15th Xi'an Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. This included the proposals that were handed in since the second session of the 15th Xi'an Municipal Committee of the CPPCC.

The conference also commended the top 10 members and outstanding members of the 15th CPPCC Xi'an Committee in 2023.
