More than 500 members of the Xi'an Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) from 29 different sectors across the city arrived at the Shaanxi Hotel on Jan 31 with a strong determination to contribute to the economic and social development of Xi'an.

They brought meticulously prepared suggestions to offer at the third session of the 15th CPPCC Xi'an Committee, which is being held in Xi'an on Feb 1-3.

The CPPCC members arrived in high spirits. They completed the registration process, including information verification, check-in, and collection of identification and conference materials, in an orderly manner.

After completing the registration, they diligently studied the conference materials, familiarizing themselves with the agenda and related requirements, and engaged in discussions regarding the suggestions they were about to submit.

Looking back over the past year, CPPCC members from across the city have focused on issues of public concern and conscientiously fulfilled their duties related to political consultation, democratic supervision, and participation in political affairs.
