The Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism held a press conference on the 2025 Xi'an Silk Road International Tourism Expo on April 10.

With the tagline "Promote cultural tourism consumption, activate industry vitality", the expo will be held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center from April 18 to 20.

The expo has a total area of 36,000 square meters with nine featured exhibition areas in three halls, including an international exchange area, domestic cooperation area, cultural tourism integration area, tourism product consumption area, and tourism equipment and outdoor sports area. An opening ceremony, the 2025 travel agency exchange, and four supporting activities will be held as well.

Li Xiaogang, director of the industrial development department of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, stated that this expo will provide a platform for international tourism exchange and cooperation by inviting travel agencies and enterprises, setting up international exchange areas, and organizing special events.

To date, the expo has attracted 187 delegations from 23 countries and regions, totaling 803 enterprises.

The 2025 Xian tourism expo will see the formation of a new "sci-tech empowerment + smart tourism + consumption boost + industry linkage" model and deepen cooperation among countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative to drive the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry.
