During the 2025 Spring Festival, Shaanxi province's cultural and tourism market saw an unprecedented boom by promoting intangible cultural heritage and ice and snow tourism.

According to Ctrip's "2025 Spring Festival Tourism Summary Report, Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province, ranked highly in multiple categories, such as parent-child travel, New Year's travel destinations, and car rental destinations, making the city one of the most popular in the Spring Festival tourism market.

The number of orders for parent-child tours in Xi'an has increased significantly year-on-year. Popular scenic spots include Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum, the Xi'an City Wall, Huaqing Palace, the Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower, and Daming Palace National Heritage Park. These spots showcase the city's history and culture, attracting many tourists.

The city ranked as a top destination for New Year's customs, with various intangible cultural activities, such as temple fairs, lantern festivals, and traditional folk performances, attracting many domestic and foreign tourists. Inbound tourism orders increased by 121 percent, and tickets for inbound intangible cultural heritage items increased sevenfold.

Xi'an also performed well as a car rental destination. The number of rental orders in Xi'an increased greatly.

In recent years, ice and snow tourism destinations in Shaanxi, mainly concentrated in Xi'an and its surrounding areas, have attracted many tourists from Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Shenzhen. These venues provide rich entertainment combined with traditional cultural activities to offer unique experiences to tourists.
