These halls explore the history, artistic styles, craftsmanship, and cultural influence of the Dingzhou kiln, revealing its heritage and connections through historical relics and chronological comparisons.
The museum houses over 50,000 ancient ceramics and 200,000 ceramic fragments dating back 8,000 years, from primitive pottery to refined ceramics like black, celadon, white, and yellow porcelain. It is one of China's most comprehensive ceramic collections.

Highlights include ceramics adorned with works by Italian artist Giuseppe Castiglione. These vividly depict Chinese society and customs, connecting the Silk Road's legacy to modern-day Xi'an.
The museum's inaugural exhibition features over 700 artifacts. Visitors can marvel at the intricate techniques used in the Dingzhou kiln, such as carving and engraving, and enjoy hands-on experiences in the pottery workshop, where they can create their own ceramics.
