The two-day event has attracted over 1,000 professionals from China's satellite application and commercial space sectors and features cutting-edge technologies and new products to strengthen Shaanxi's space industry ecosystem.
To promote innovation and foster collaboration, the conference includes an exhibition area where over 30 companies are showcasing more than 100 innovative products. These technologies have communication, navigation, meteorology, and scientific research applications.

During the opening ceremony, several Xi'an-based satellite development units unveiled breakthrough innovations, including the Interstellar Cloud Intelligent Processing Platform, high-resolution agricultural monitoring satellites, advanced satellite antenna systems, and satellite measurement and control systems. These advancements underscore Xi'an's leading role in satellite application research and development.
The event also saw the release of the "2023-2024 Xi'an Satellite Application Industry Development White Paper". According to the white paper, Xi'an is one of China's top regions for satellite application research, hosting major facilities such as the Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base and the country's largest satellite payload development center.

As of Oct 31, Xi'an was home to 544 companies involved in satellite manufacturing, rocket launching, ground equipment production, and satellite operation services, covering the entire industry chain.
In parallel sessions, over 20 experts explored topics like hyperspectral remote sensing, commercial rocket innovations, and AI-driven satellite management, offering insights into the future of the commercial space ecosystem.
The conference serves as a platform to accelerate innovation and collaboration, further enhancing Xi'an's role as a hub for high-quality development in satellite applications and commercial aerospace.
