On Sept 11, 10 Shaanxi province athletes returned triumphantly to Xi'an North Railway Station after participating in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. They were warmly welcomed by the Shaanxi Disabled Persons Federation and the Xi'an Disabled Persons Federation.

The Shaanxi athletes competed in swimming, table tennis, archery, athletics, and other events, clinching an impressive tally of two gold, four silver, and three bronze medals, along with multiple top-five finishes.
The athletes broke two Asian records and one world record, bringing honor to their country and hometown.
Xi'an's Wu Chunyan, who secured gold in the women's individual recurve open final and became Shaanxi's first gold medalist at the Paris Paralympic Games, expressed her determination: "We will continue to strive for more glory on the field for our nation and the people of Shaanxi!"
Liu Rongxian, secretary of the Shaanxi Disabled Persons Federation, praised the athletes' outstanding performances and encouraged them to aim for even greater success in the future.
