This industry creates large-scale scenarios for modern urban governance, empowers new productivity, and develops small applications to benefit households and enhance people's quality of life.

From rocket launches and satellite manufacturing to application services, various enterprises along the satellite application industry chain are thriving in Xi'an.

Xi'an Huanyu Satellite Control and Data Application Co focuses on satellite measurement, operation control, application, and data services for the rocket launch sector. In the first half of 2024 alone, it provided launch control services for 30 commercial satellites in early orbit.

Xi'an has established a complete industry chain layout covering satellite navigation, communication, and remote sensing, becoming a crucial source of innovation for China's commercial aerospace industry and a major hub for satellite application-based industries.

In December last year, Shaanxi province issued policies aimed at driving high-quality development of the digital economy and emphasizing the promotion of satellite industry clusters.

Xi'an has also introduced a series of policies, deepened innovation-driven initiatives, improved industry support, and propelled the satellite application industry to new heights.

Xi'an is using satellite remote sensing technology to enhance natural resource governance. The city achieves this by constructing an integrated application technology system encompassing data management, product production, core applications, and application services.

Xi'an is also applying satellite technology in urban planning, transportation, disaster prevention, Qinling Mountain protection, and livelihood security. All of this is made possible through advancements in high-precision positioning, wide-area precise timing, digital twin mapping, and other cutting-edge innovations.
