On Aug 30, China Eastern Airlines officially launched the Xi'an to Hanoi direct international flight route, marking a significant milestone. Flight MU867 departed from Xi'an Xianyang International Airport with 60 passengers on board.

Operating as flight MU867/868, the route will offer round trips every Tuesday and Friday. The outbound flight from Xi'an to Hanoi will depart at 5:10 pm and reach Hanoi at 6:55 pm. The return flight from Hanoi to Xi'an is set to depart at 8:15 pm and arrive in Xi'an at 11:55 pm.

Hanoi serves as Vietnam's political, cultural, and technological hub, boasting numerous historical landmarks and scenic spots. The opening of the Xi'an to Hanoi route is expected to enhance exchanges and cooperation in tourism, economy, and culture between the two cities, offering residents a more vibrant life experience.

In recent years, China Eastern Airlines has increased investment in the Shaanxi market, expanding its global route network to establish Xi'an as an international hub. Introducing this new route enriches the air travel system in Shaanxi and injects fresh vitality into the opening-up and economic development of Xi'an and all of Northwest China.
