In July, Xi'an Xianyang International Airport experienced a thriving market with high demand and supply as passenger flow remained at record levels.
Following the historic peak of 154,600 passengers on July 27, the airport saw a total of 31,000 takeoffs and landings and transported 4.51 million passengers throughout the month, achieving an average seat occupancy rate of 86 percent. All of these figures represent new records.

As the summer travel season kicks in, trends like family trips, educational tours, and holiday tours have surged, fueling a continuous uptrend in the airport's aviation passenger market.
Domestically, routes to border areas, grasslands, islands, and culinary destinations were exceptionally popular, with routes to Yining, Hohhot, Shenyang, Changsha, Zhangjiajie, Hangzhou, and more boasting seat occupancy rates exceeding 90 percent.
Driven by favorable visa-free entry policies, international routes experienced a peak in growth, with high passenger flows to destinations like Osaka, Tokyo, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, and London, maintaining seat occupancy rates above 85 percent.
To meet the summer travel demands of domestic and international passengers, the airport plans to progressively launch international routes to Milan, Koh Samui, Hanoi, and more in August.
Furthermore, the airport is committed to enhancing service quality, providing guidance and information to passengers, especially first-time passengers, late arrivals, unaccompanied minors, and other people with special needs.
