The first domestically produced 190-kiloampere generator circuit breaker recently set off from Xi'an XD Electric Switchgear Co, bound for Pakistan.

The generator circuit breaker, crucial for safeguarding and controlling power plants' generators and transformers, efficiently interrupts short-circuit faults from both the generator and system sources.

The K-2/K-3 project in Karachi, Pakistan marks China's first full-scale export of a 1.1-million-kilowatt commercial pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant, utilizing domestically developed third-generation nuclear technology – a significant milestone as part of the Hualong One overseas debut.

The project will provide clean, efficient, and secure power to alleviate Pakistan's power shortages, significantly improving local livelihoods.

The 190kA generator circuit breaker package being shipped is currently the most robust in China in terms of interruption and continuous current capabilities.

Through extensive technological accumulation and ongoing innovation, Xi'an XD Electric Switchgear Co's technical team overcame critical challenges in ultra-high current interruption, continuous current flow, and short-term and peak current endurance.

This breakthrough not only advances China's power transmission and distribution equipment industry but also bolsters the country's nuclear power development and global expansion strategies.

The successful export of this product underscores the company's technical prowess and product quality, and exemplifies its proactive alignment with national development strategies, fearlessly tackling key technological hurdles.
