Guangxi promotes summer tourism in Xi'an

A summer tourism product matchmaking event of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region was held in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on June 21, with about 130 representatives from tourism industry associations, tourism enterprises, and media of the two places participating.

In her address, Gao Lin, vice president and secretary-general of the Guangxi Tourism Association, highlighted the long historical connection between Guangxi and Xi'an. She emphasized that Xi'an and Guilin are internationally renowned tourist cities with unique tourism attractions, complementing each other well. This mutual complementarity has positioned Guangxi and Xi'an as both mutual tourist destinations and mutual sources of tourists.

Gao also expressed his desire to see deeper cooperation between the associations of the two places, which would contribute to the high-quality development of tourism in both areas.

Wang Xinyu, vice president and secretary-general of the Shaanxi Tourism Association, expressed in his speech his hope that the cultural and tourism industries of Guangxi and Shaanxi will seize this opportunity to actively promote practical cooperation in resource development, investment attraction, route creation, and mutual tourist exchanges.

Centered around the theme "Romantic Guangxi, Refreshing Summer", the matchmaking event unveiled 10 Guangxi summer tourism theme routes and a total of 42 tourism products.

Following discussions, the tourism enterprises from both regions reached verbal agreements on 61 items for mutual tourist exchanges, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration in product development, market interactions, and mutual tourist exchanges.
