The Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism held the Cultural Shaanxi Tourism Presentation in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on May 31.

The event was aimed at showcasing Shaanxi's tourism attractions and seeking cooperation opportunities, and nearly 50 representatives from about 20 overseas travel agencies from countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Switzerland, were invited to participate.

Wang Chun, deputy director of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, emphasized that Shaanxi is a popular international tourist destination in China. The successful holding of the 14th China-US Tourism Leadership Summit in Xi'an has further expanded the province's international influence, continuing the strong recovery trend in inbound tourism in Shaanxi this year.

During the event, the lively and festive performance of the Suideng yangge dance (a type of Chinese folk dance) vividly demonstrated the bold and hospitable nature of the people of Shaanxi, allowing international travel agents to be immersed in the profound and extensive traditional Chinese culture.

Also, nearly 50 major cultural and tourism enterprises in the province, including Shaanxi Tourism Group and Shaanxi Culture Industry Investment Group, engaged in discussions with international travel agents.
