Xi'an Metro has formulated a special operation plan for the upcoming three-day holiday, which will take place from Dec 30 to Jan 1, to meet the travel needs of locals and tourists alike.

Striving to ensure smooth and orderly metro operations during the holiday, Xi'an Metro has researched previous passenger flow patterns, optimized its peak periods, and extended its operating hours. It has also added supplementary trains, and developed special services for this time period.

Affected by the dual impact of Friday commuting and pre-holiday passenger flow, the Xi'an Metro network is expected to usher in its peak passenger flow on Dec 29.

During the holiday period, Xi'an Metro will increase the capacity supply of the line network, and the peak operation mode of each line will continue until around 10:30 pm.

Also, the service team of Xi'an Metro will carry out consultation, civilized guidance, support work for elderly and the young passengers at key stations, such as Big Wild Goose Pagoda Station, Xiaozhai Station, Bell Tower Station, and Xi'an North Railway Station.
