The Xi'an Second E-commerce Festival concluded on Dec 6 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

During the festival, which lasted over 70 days, activities were held, including e-commerce industry training, product selection events, e-commerce development forums, livestreaming events, livestreamer competitions, and policy promotions.
During the festival, Xi'an achieved a network retail sales volume of 10.42 billion yuan ($1.46 billion) in September, a year-on-year increase of 14.66 percent. This marked the first time Xi'an's monthly network retail sales exceeded 10 billion yuan.
During the Double 11 online shopping festival, Xi'an's livestreaming sales performance was remarkable, with a transaction volume of 1.53 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 40.26 percent. The number of livestream viewers reached 129 million.

The Xi'an-Central Asia Silk Road E-commerce Alliance was established during the festival, making positive contributions to the exchange and cooperation of the e-commerce industry along the Silk Road.
At the closing ceremony of the festival, members of the alliance jointly released the alliance declaration.
