Located at the foot of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Datang Everbright City is a high-quality pedestrian street with a design and cultural theme evoking the Tang Dynasty (618-907) -- integrating the development of business, travel, culture and the night economy.
Since becoming a pilot for national demonstration model for the rollout of pedestrian streets nationally on Dec 25, 2018, it has introduced a succession of initiatives in order to improve its business environment and boost its consumer tourism market.
The number of leading international and domestic brands on offer there has increased to more than 450 now from 350 previously.

Last year, it also introduced a series of initiatives to help out with the overall drive to tackle poverty. It opened a 60-square-meter supermarket that exclusively sells more than 80 agricultural products and associated products from poor counties, villages and households.
This has not only created a new exhibition and sales platform for these kinds of products, but also made it easier for consumers to buy agricultural products.
Next, within its overall planning program, Datang Everbright City will continue to be a window for Xi'an to expand its opening up and it will increase its own high-quality development, in order to contribute to the growing integration of business, culture and tourism.
