The 2022 special job fair for overseas returnees, master's degree holders and holders of doctorates will be held both on-site and online on July 23 in Xi'an – capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province – according to the municipal bureau of human resources and social security.

The event will demonstrate the robust environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as the employment opportunities in Xi'an. It is also expected to create a platform and provide services for people from home and abroad to return for employment and entrepreneurship, as well as to attract more overseas returnees to put down roots in Xi'an.

The on-site job fair is scheduled to be held at Xi'an Talent Comprehensive Service Harbor from 9 am to 2 pm on July 23.

Universities, scientific research institutes, enterprises and institutions – engaged in biomedicines, information and communications, aerospace, the military sector, medical and health care, finance and cultural creativity – will be invited to participate.

A special area will be set up at the venue to provide consultations about Xi'an's policies for recruiting professionals with master's degrees and doctorates – as well as cover subjects important to prospective new hires, such as talent grading.

On July 23, the online job fair for Xi'an overseas returnees will kick off and will run to July 29. Returnees unable to participate in the on-site event can go on the website to find recruitment information and to deliver their resumes online, as well for job consultations and to conduct video interviews.
