The first lecture of the series focused on contemporary Xi'an, Chang'an in the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), and what people from the Western Regions thought about Chang'an, completing an online journey.
Utilizing video demonstrations, dialogues and on-site discussions, the course has not only imparted knowledge, but also enhanced its educational value.
Moreover, by leveraging modern technological means, the course facilitated online interactive learning among students from the three schools, enabling them to share knowledge about the Silk Road.
The course series is a distinctive museum course developed in collaboration with the 5+2 after-school program. Museum staff members and school teachers jointly deliver the course, aiming to guide students over the academic year, allowing them to gain an understanding of the geographical environments and cultural landscapes of the key cities along the Silk Road.
