Northwest University International Students Silk Road Scholarship

Applicants of the Northwest University International Students Silk Road Scholarship should be non-Chinese citizens and in good health. Applicants must meet the admission requirements of the Northwestern University for foreign doctoral students, hold the master's degree or above, be no more than 45 years old, and achieve an average score of above 75 percent during postgraduate study. For Chinese-taught programs, applicants should hold HSK Level V Certificate when applying; For English taught programs, applicants (except those from native English countries) should hold English Proficiency Certificate: TOEFL 60 or above; IELTS 5.5 or above. Applicants should graduate from internationally renowned universities (both undergraduate and master level). Scientific invention patent holders or applicants who published papers in International had known papers or magazines are highly preferred; besides, applicants must not be a winner of the Chinese Government Scholarship or other scholarships. The scholarship includes tuition waiver, and free on-campus dormitory accommodation; Monthly living allowance of CNY 3,500; comprehensive medical insurance and protection scheme for international students in China;
