Northwest University of Political Science and Law is a high-level university and a first-class discipline construction university with key construction in Shaanxi Province.  There are more than 1,000 full-time teachers, including nearly 500 senior professional teachers. There are more than 20 of them of which were awarded as Specialists Entitled to the State Council Special Allowance, National Outstanding Senior Jurist, National Top Ten Outstanding Young Jurists, National Excellent Teacher and National Teachers advanced Individual. Northwest University of Political Science and Law has 32 majors, more than 13,000 undergraduate students, more than 2,400 postgraduate students, 67 doctoral students, and seven graduated doctoral students. There are five first-level master's degree authorization points in law, philosophy, theoretical economics, journalism and communication, public administration, 34 second-level master's degree authorization points, and seven professional master's degree points. There are ten provincial key disciplines and three provincial-level key disciplines.
