Many primary and middle schools in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, recently held open days to give parents a more direct and in-depth understanding of the school environment.

 "The school open day activities are methodical, and the arrangements are detailed and thoughtful. Students and parents can get to know the school in advance," said a parent after visiting Xi’an Qujiang No 2 Middle School.

During the school open day at Xi'an Gaoxin No 9 Primary School, the person in charge of the school introduced the school's education philosophy and characteristics to the parents, and answered questions about the school's training model, school conditions, and other common concerns.

Parents also visited the school's functional department room, art hall, restaurant, gymnasium and library.

The teachers of the school said that they will use the open day as an opportunity to innovate teaching methods and achieve a win-win situation for parents and school.
