The Middle School Attached to Northwestern Polytechnical University was founded in 1971, named Shaanxi Key Middle School in 1986, and promoted to Shaanxi Model High School in 2009 with a "first overall" evaluation score.

Xi'an Gaoxin No 1 High School

Xi'an Gaoxin No 1 High School was founded in 1995. It is a private school built in Xi’an High-tech Industrial Development Zone to improve the investment environment. In 1998, the school was approved as a provincial key middle school, and in 2009, it was approved as a model high school in Shaanxi province.

There are two campuses in Xi'an Gaoxin No 1 High School: one is the high school and the other is the southern campus. Adhering to the school philosophy of "people-oriented, student-centered, world-oriented, and future-oriented, cultivating high-quality qualified personnel", and the school motto of "innovation for the times, making the best of the talents", the school established the first International Curriculum Class and Qian Xuesen Experimental Class in Shaanxi province, with fruitful results.

The Xi'an Gaoxin No 1 High School International Class was approved by the Shaanxi Provincial Education Department in 2006, and registered by the Ministry of Education as an international high school curriculum class. The High School Affiliated to Shannxi Normal University

The High School Affiliated to Shannxi Normal University was founded in 1910. It is located in the southern suburb of the ancient city and Qujiang New Area, close to the famous Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and across the road from Datang Furong Garden.
