The Hancheng Lake Scenic Area is built on Tuanjie Reservoir and belongs to the reservoir-type water conservancy scenic area.
In recent years, through the implementation of comprehensive renovation and improvement projects for water ecology, water environment, water culture, and water landscape, the Hancheng Lake Scenic Area has undergone tremendous changes.
Relying on the unique water culture and cultural resources of the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), the scenic area has created a water conservancy scenery community and shaped the "Hancheng Lake" brand.
A series of cultural activities have also been held by the scenic area, such as the Hancheng Lake Spring Festival Cultural Temple Fair, the Han-style collective wedding, the Han Culture and Art Festival, and the Hancheng Lake Dragon Boat Festival, which have been well-received by visitors.
As a national 4A-level scenic area, the Hancheng Lake Scenic Area is an important window for the display of water culture and Han culture.
