Ancient city adds another leisure park

The Duyi Heritage Park in Qujiang New District, Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, opened to the public on June 1, becoming another place for citizens to spend their leisure time.

The park covers an area of about 20,000 square meters, with a built area of nearly 4,000 sq m.

The entrance to the park is a curving bridge which, seen from above, is shaped like a dragon. In the park, there are many trees, and flowers blooming, and many citizens from surrounding areas were attracted on the day.

At the tourist service center, the Duling historical culture and heritage protection exhibition area allows tourists to learn more about Duling, the mausoleum of Emperor Liu Xun, of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24).

In the supporting leisure area, Starbucks, KFC, and Pizza Hut have opened for business.

The park will contribute to telling the story of local history, highlighting Qujiang culture, and enhancing the soft power of Xi'an's urban civilization.
