The China-Central Asia International Cultural Tourism Special Train (Xi'an-Almaty section) arrived at Xi'an Railway Station on June 7. More than 200 passengers disembarked from the train, marking the end of a 3,600-kilometer Silk Road journey which promoted cultural exchange and integration.

This year is Kazakhstan's "China Tourism Year". In order to promote cultural exchanges and deepen connectivity between China and Central Asian countries, the first cultural tourism special train departed from Xi'an Railway Station on May 29 and arrived in Kazakhstan on May 31.
After the train's arrival, various cultural tourism exchange activities were held, including a cultural exchange market, cultural and archaeological exchange activities, and a China-Kazakhstan football friendly match, which promoted cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two cities.
The activities also showcased China's intangible cultural heritage, calligraphy, traditional Chinese medicine and other elements of traditional culture to Kazakhstan, deepening exchange and cooperation in various fields and promoting the integration of cultural tourism, sports, and commerce between the two cities.

Lu Fei, general manager of Xi'an Tourism Group Co, said in an interview that the special train has achieved strong results. He expressed gratitude to all the passengers and partners. It is their trust and close cooperation that have made this unforgettable journey possible.
In the future, the company will strive to connect the historical relics and cultural attractions of the five Central Asian countries along the Silk Road and use railways and special trains to make the travel experience on the Silk Road more comprehensive.
