The "China's Artistic Heritage: The Great Collection of Paintings" Achievement Exhibition·Shaanxi Special Exhibition is now ongoing at Xi'an Art Museum and will run until October.

The exhibition is hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee Publicity Department, Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee Publicity Department, and Zhejiang University. It was organized by the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and the School of Art and Archaeology of Zhejiang University.

The "China's Artistic Heritage: The Great Collection of Paintings" is a national key cultural project. Since 2005, with the support of 263 domestic and overseas cultural museums, it has published five complete collections of chronological paintings, totaling 60 volumes and 226 books. It has achieved outstanding results, with 35 achievement exhibitions held both at home and abroad, promoting contemporary Chinese culture, art, and academia, while also demonstrating the brilliance of Chinese civilization and Chinese culture.

The exhibition selects important works that reflect the Shaanxi province and Shaanxi artists. It also features a series of works by teachers and students of the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, inspired by the project. Through diverse perspectives and art style, they explore the aesthetic spirit and cultural interests of China throughout the millennia.

Seminars and public lectures on academic achievements will be held simultaneously, offering a professional perspective on traditional Chinese painting and promoting the aesthetic education and innovative development of traditional art in the new era.
