The opening ceremony of the Photography Exhibition Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Sister-City Relationship between Xi'an and Quebec was held in Xi'an on June 26.

The exhibition will run until July 26 and is free to attend. It features more than 100 original photographic works by Chinese and Canadian photographers, along with documentary videos that highlight friendly exchanges.

The exhibition serves as a new platform for cultural dialogue between Chinese and Canadian cities. Divided into three thematic sections, it presents the scenery of the two cities and stories of their exchanges.

Representatives from Xi'an and Quebec delivered speeches at the ceremony, reviewing fruitful cooperation achievements across various sectors over the years. They also envisioned new prospects for future collaboration in cultural and tourism connectivity, youth exchanges, and industrial coordination.

Xi'an will continue to expand cooperation with Quebec in culture and tourism, education, scientific and technological innovation, green development, and youth exchanges. It will also build more exchange platforms to deepen friendly ties between the two sides and inject new vitality into cultural exchanges between China and Canada.
