Xi'an is an ancient capital with a rich cultural heritage. From the artistic Tang poetry recreated by digital light and shadow to the integration of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) and modern technology, the city is revitalizing its ancient roots in contemporary times.
Daming Palace National Heritage Park
Daming Palace was the heart of the prosperous Tang Dynasty (618-907). Although the original buildings have been lost over the years, their historical and cultural heritage has never faded.
Xi'an has adopted a unique approach: while protecting its cultural roots, it uses modern technology to activate this historical space, bringing cultural heritage to life.
As a world cultural heritage site, Daming Palace is more than just a relic — it is a constantly evolving cultural symbol bearing the history of the Tang Dynasty's court culture.
Xi'an Museum
At the Xi'an Museum, technology serves as a tool to depict the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty, restoring the artistic conception and calligraphic charm of Wang Wei's (a famous Tang Dynasty poet) poems.
Chang'an (the ancient name of Xi'an) has long been considered the birthplace of Tang poetry. Xi'an has proposed building a "City of Tang Poetry", carrying forward this cross-millennial cultural inheritance.
Combining ICH with modern technology and cultural symbols, the museum allows the audience to feel the charm of traditional culture through a visual feast while triggering in-depth reflection on cultural inheritance.

Omni Chang'an
The performance Omni Chang'an is redefining the stage. Integrating traditional culture with modern technology, the show demonstrates the Tang Dynasty's spiritual essence of openness, inclusiveness, and innovation.
Weaving various traditions, including Qinqiang Opera and shadow puppetry, together with modern technology and cultural symbols, the show allows the audience to experience the charm of traditional culture through a visual feast while inspiring deep reflection on cultural inheritance.
As the performance conveys, the best of traditional Chinese culture belongs not only to China but also to the world, exuding eternal vitality through cross-border integration.
