The 2025 "Envisaging the Future of Cities" Themed Painting Exhibition opened at the Yanta District Cultural Center in Xi'an on Oct 22 and will run for a month.

As an extension of the 2025 World Organization of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) Council Meeting and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)'s Bridge for Cities 10th Anniversary Special Event, the exhibition uses art as a link to gather creativity from teenagers around the world, injecting vitality into the cultural life of Xi'an.

The exhibition has selected 150 excellent works from among 1,696 submissions worldwide, showcasing an image of the future through the eyes of Chinese and international youth. The works revolve around three main themes: Future Urban Planning, Environmental Protection, and Technology and Life.

The exhibition has already attracted widespread attention during the main event of Bridge for Cities, and opened a window for Xi'an citizens to appreciate the artistic style of teenagers around the world.

The event marks a new chapter in resource integration and platform sharing for regional cultural construction and youth art education collaboration, laying a solid foundation for a new "city-culture-future" educational model.
