The 2026 Xixian New Area Spring Festival culture, commerce, and tourism event kicked off on Feb 3 at Xixian Wuyue Plaza. Running until March, the event aims to enhance people's consumption experience.

The event features 33 activities under five key themes, including lantern shows and performances, food and shopping, intangible cultural heritage, culture and sports initiatives, and tourism and leisure, integrating traditional customs with modern technology and showcasing profound cultural heritage while offering a diverse range of entertainment options for visitors of all ages.

Xixian has also rolled out a series of welfare policies, with visitors born in the Year of the Horse able to enter the Silk Road Paradise free of charge, and calligraphers writing Spring Festival couplets and the character Fu (happiness) for citizens from Feb 7 to 8 at Xixian Wuyue Plaza and the Silk Road Paradise. Commercial complexes will also launch discounts and coupon distribution.

Xixian will also launch four tourist routes, including a leisure tour, a family tour, and a cultural tour, connecting key scenic spots to cater to visitors' diverse needs.

In 2026, the area will collaborate with Fengdong New City's relevant departments and units to develop an integrated consumption cluster spanning culture, commerce, tourism, and sports. Focusing on Qin (221206 BC) culture, sports and leisure, and food and catering, the immersive block, friendly to cyclists and pet owners, is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2026.
