The fourth session of the 14th Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress convened on Jan 27 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

More than 500 deputies divided into 11 delegations attended the session, representing the province's 10 cities as well as the military forces stationed there. During the session, they reviewed and determined the major goals for the province's economic and social development this year.

The session called on leaders to make new strides in pursuing high-quality economic and social development.
