The exhibition brings together 360 pieces by artists from across the country, covering three generations – senior, middle-aged, and young – chosen from over 8,000 submissions. They showcase the overall style and highest academic standards of Chinese painting in the new era, highlight outstanding achievements in recent years, and present new looks and reflections in contemporary Chinese painting.

Tian Liming, director of the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the China Artists Association, said that the three generations of artists have advanced Chinese painting in step with the times and the people.

Zhu Jinhui, president of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, said that the exhibited works cover a wide range of themes and diverse artistic expressions. Rooted in fine traditional Chinese culture, they demonstrate the strength of the artists' pursuit in the new era.
