Xi'an CEA Safran Landing Systems Services (XIESA), an enterprise located in the Shaanxi Xixian Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, has obtained maintenance organization certification approvals from the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA) of Cambodia and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).

This marks another crucial step for the company as it deepens its presence in the global aviation maintenance market. It also lays a solid foundation for the aviation maintenance industry in the Airport New City of Xixian New Area to expand into Southeast Asia and extend cooperation under the framework of the "Air Silk Road".

XIESA is the first maintenance enterprise in China invested by the original landing gear manufacturer and the only one invested by the original manufacturer of A320 aircraft landing gear. Since its establishment in 2021, the company has obtained maintenance certifications from three major international authorities: the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

To further expand the international market, the company has also been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Indonesia (DGCA Indonesia), making it a benchmark in China's aviation landing gear maintenance industry.

The company serves domestic airlines, including China Eastern Airlines, Juneyao Air, and West Air, as well as international airlines such as British Airways, Philippine Airlines, and Himalaya Airlines. The company has maintained a total of 271 sets of landing gear, with a maintenance output value exceeding 1 billion yuan ($145.31 million).

The acquisition of the two certifications marks another important breakthrough in the Southeast Asian market. Led by XIESA as a flagship enterprise, Xixian Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone is focusing on building a systematic and clustered aviation maintenance industrial chain. By launching a number of core projects and introducing high-quality supporting programs, it will form an aviation maintenance industrial ecosystem featuring upstream and downstream collaboration, full-chain support, and coordinated domestic and international services.
