Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, held a themed exchange event for key foreign-invested enterprises in the city on June 11, to discuss the stable development of enterprises.
The event aimed to build a communication platform between the government, enterprises and business associations, and help foreign-invested enterprises to solve difficulties and problems in production, research and development, and sales.
Since the beginning of this year, in the face of the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, Xi'an has launched a series of policies and measures to help enterprises resume work and production.
It established a research system for foreign-invested enterprises and donated anti-epidemic materials to many of them in the city.
From January to April this year, Xi'an's actual use of foreign investment reached $2.522 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.25 percent.
