At the beginning of this year, Xi'an Customs launched a series of measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency for Shaanxi foreign trade enterprises and help further stabilize foreign trade.
As of
the end of October, there were 15,256 registered customs declaration
entities in the customs area, a year-on-year increase of 12.44 percent.

Among the entities, 15,032 were consignees and consignors of imports and exports, an increase of 12.2 percent year-on-year, and 224 were customs brokers, an increase of 30.99 percent year-on-year.
Xi'an Customs has formulated a "credit cultivation for enterprises" plan, focusing on the development of credit cultivation for outstanding enterprises in the old red area, enterprises in emerging business types, and enterprises involved in trade with Central and Eastern European countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
The plan encourages enterprises to improve their customs credit rating and benefit from the development of an import and export credit system.
The customs authority has
also held video presentations to explain new customs credit management
policies to enterprises and promote measures related to prioritized cultivation and certification.
In addition, Xi'an Customs has actively promoted the online handling of customs-related affairs. Companies can log in at any location across the country to submit a filing application, and after local customs review and settlement, they can print the filing receipt themselves.
