Wang Haibao, a Party member and the head of the Greenland Silk Road Global Cultural Center project's materials department, has given full play to the pioneering and exemplary role of Party members. He has led his team to ensure the supply of materials and standardize the management of materials.

The Greenland Silk Road Global Cultural Center project is being constructed by the No 6 Engineering Corporation Limited of China Railway 20th Bureau Group Co. It is a supporting facility of China's 14th National Games, which is scheduled to be held on Sept 15-27.

On Sept 15, 2020, the project started constriction. According to the schedule requirements, the project should be completed on June 30, 2021.

The development includes two 160-meter-tall high-rise office buildings, a 100-meter-tall apartment, a conference center and two commercial and underground garages.

Before construction, Wang had only 10 days to prepare building materials and the construction of the office area.

Wang led his team to visit dozens of construction equipment and material manufacturers and suppliers, check the quality of materials and expand project material procurement channels.

"We must complete the pre-project procurement tasks in the shortest time period and meet the quality standards to ensure the smooth and timely start of the project," he said.

When the project construction entered the peak period, Wang remained at the project site to ensure safe, efficient and orderly construction.
