Her work has ranged from design work and managing model components to material management, quality management and other positions. Although her positions have changed over the years, Chen's work has always been closely related to the research and development needs of the nation's various aerospace projects.
"I will go wherever needed," said Chen, who added that she never complains about the frequent job adjustments. Instead, she regards every adjustment as a learning opportunity.
Starting from the Chang'e 1 mission, Chen has participated in the country's lunar exploration missions. In the Chang'e 4 mission, the range and speed sensor developed by Chen's team has become a standard product to ensure safe moon exploration.
In addition, she has participated in many manned space missions. In 2020, Chen led the team to work on the country's first Mars probe, Tianwen-1.
Recalling the obstacles that were overcome along the way, Chen said she owes "thanks to the team," of which Party members accounted for 50 percent.
Although busy, Chen is full of pride, and she has become more and more respectful and enthusiastic about the aerospace industry she has committed her life to.
