Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, has added 87 new key municipal projects with a total investment of 106.35 billion yuan ($15.03 billion), according to the relevant arrangements for new and adjusted key projects in Xi'an in 2020.

Among the newly-added city-level key projects, 19 are advanced manufacturing projects, including four traditional industry upgrade projects, and 15 are in strategic emerging industries.

Of the 12 service industry projects, six are commercial urban complex projects and six are logistics, exhibition or technological service projects.

There are 12 cultural tourism industry projects, including seven cultural industry projects and five tourism industry projects, such as Shaanxi Archaeological Museum and Duling Archaeological Heritage Park.  

In addition, six projects are related to urban construction and infrastructure, nine are based in environmental protection, and 29 projects are related to people's livelihoods, including eight education projects, 11 sports and sanitation projects, five home resettlement construction projects, and three community renovation projects.
