Twenty of Xi'an Yanliang National Aviation High-tech Industrial Base's key projects began construction on Aug 4, with help from a 10.66 billion yuan ($1.53 billion) investment.

The projects cover various fields related to advanced manufacturing, urban infrastructure and livelihood services.

The Xi'an aviation industry processing and manufacturing base project received an investment worth 800 million yuan from Guanglian Aviation (Xi'an) Co. After the facility begins operations, it will be able to produce 12,000 pieces of aviation support products and complete aircraft products per year.

Invested and constructed by Xi'an Turbo Technologies Co, the technology application center for R&D of aerospace engine core components will achieve an annual production capacity of 85 million yuan and provide more than 120 jobs.

Since the beginning of this year, Xi'an aviation industrial base has focused on the development of its advanced manufacturing industry, continued to optimize the business environment and launched multiple measures to support the resumption of work and production.

In the first half of 2020, Xi'an aviation industrial base saw a growth rate of 12.1 percent in gross domestic production and a growth rate of 30.8 percent in the output value of advanced manufacturing.
