Xi'an Xianyang International Airport handled 813 flights with a passenger throughput of 100,100 on June 14.

This is the first time since the COVID-19 epidemic broke out that the airport's daily passenger traffic has exceeded 100,000.

To facilitate the resumption of transportation services, the airport has encouraged airlines to resume flight access as quickly as possible and offered preferential policies for charter flights.

It has also strengthened collaboration with airlines to resume flights between cities with high flight demand and restore related processes and services on transfer flights.

In March this year, Xi'an Xianyang International Airport was awarded the "Best Support Airport for Off-site Check-in in 2019" by the International Air Transport Association.

This year, it will focus on upgrading efforts to achieve an annual passenger throughput of 50 million and create a new model of high-quality development for large airports.
