The original production of the acrobatic ballet Swan Lake premiered in 2004 and has since performed nearly 300 shows in countries such as Russia, Japan, and Germany.
The Xi'an Acrobatic Troupe unveiled a new iteration of their acclaimed production in 2019. This latest rendition of their performance retains the intrinsic artistic qualities of its predecessor while infusing elements of the Western culture to create an entirely novel and unique experience. Furthermore, it is a stunning showcase of the Tang Dynasty's (618-907) exquisite civilization and the rich cultural heritage of Chang'an.
During the performance, the Xi'an (Singapore) Cultural Exchange and City Promotion Exhibition was also held at the theater, showcasing various aspects of Tang culture, including delicacies, intangible cultural heritage, and cultural and innovative products.
