Three tourist attractions in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, were recently selected by the Xi'an municipal administration of culture and tourism as smart scenic spots in 2022.

They were Kunming Lake·Qixi Park, Bailuyuan Studios and Xi'an Museum.

Kunming Lake•Qixi Park

Kunming Lake•Qixi Park has adopted advanced technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence to build an intelligent management platform and strengthen its transformation into a smart scenic spot.

Through new media platforms such as WeChat public accounts, Sina Weibo and Douyin, the scenic spot shares basic information, event notices, travel route recommendations, itinerary planning information, and traffic navigation information. 

In addition, the tourist service center and toilets at the scenic spot are equipped with electronic bulletin boards, large LED screens, self-service guide terminals, touchscreens, and multimedia terminals, as well as guide machines, massage chairs, and power banks.

Bailuyuan Studios

The Bailuyuan Studios scenic spot has an online platform that allows tourists to learn about it through information publicity, consultation visits, and exhibitions, and provides tourists with the most complete travel strategies.

The scenic spot is equipped with more than 10 large LED screens, electronic bulletin boards, touchscreens, and multimedia terminal screens with bright and delicate displays.

In addition, the scenic spot has established a digital technology innovation project using a big data 3D visual command and decision-making system, and more than 30 projects have been completed and implemented.

Xi'an Museum

In recent years, the Xi'an Museum has followed the pace of intelligent upgrading in tourism industrialization and explored the process of intelligent development and digital transformation.

The museum has accelerated its integration with education, technology, tourism, media, art and other fields.

With a series of multimedia such as virtual electronic flip books, digital phantom demonstration, interactive displays, and cultural relic navigation, the museum has enriched its exhibition content and displayed cultural relics visually.

In addition, the museum has promoted the digitization of collections, launched online exhibitions and cloud classrooms, and developed a variety of cultural and creative products.
