The Grand Tang Mall, a pedestrian street in Xi'an – capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province – is now full of buoyant New Year's cheer, and the atmosphere is attracting hordes of locals and tourists. This year's Spring Festival falls on Jan 22. With a new design based on the culture of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the Grand Tang Mall is striving to create a one-stop consumer paradise that combines shopping, dining, entertainment, leisure, tourism and business.
