The theme flight event of the "Enjoy Chinese New Year in Xi'an" program officially kicked off in the passenger cabin of the 9H8377 Xi'an-Hefei-Taizhou flight operated by Air Changan on Jan 13.

The program was launched by the Xi'an bureau of culture and tourism and Air Changan, and will last until Feb 9.

It aims to allow Chinese and international passengers feel the festival atmosphere of the "Xi'an Chinese New Year" and appreciate the special customs of the Guanzhong Plain.

The flight attendants of Air Changan introduced the theme flight activity and related information about the "Enjoy Chinese New Year in Xi'an" program.

In addition, a series of award-winning quizzes testing passengers' knowledge about Xi'an knowledge brought the atmosphere to a climax. The flight attendants also presented passengers with customized cultural and creative baggage tags featuring the theme of "Enjoy Chinese New Year in Xi'an."

The "Enjoy Chinese New Year in Xi'an" program was launched by the Xi'an municipal government, as part of the Xi'an Chinese New Year celebrations. It aims to show an ancient city integrating history and culture, technology, as well as fashion. With nine themes, Xi'an will launch 46 key activities and 255 mass cultural events during the period, such as cultural performances, intangible cultural heritage displays, and colorful light shows.
