The China-Europe Chang'an freight train has benefitted a raft of companies that are busy going global, and Xi'an Sitazhi Technology Co – located in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province – is just one of those beneficiaries.

In July 2022, the company independently developed and produced its first batch of 2,000 all-in-one computers which were then delivered to European customers by the freight train.

"Xi'an boasts a superior location advantage and convenient land port and airport transportation conditions, which are the primary reasons why we chose to move there," said general manager Hu Haiping.

"We are a foreign trade company and our products are mainly sold to Central Asia, Europe and other regions,” Hu said.

"Through the fast China-Europe Chang'an freight train, the goods can be delivered to customers five to seven days in advance and the transportation cost is lower".

In addition to its high-level open platform, Hu also attaches great importance to the soft power of Xi'an's business environment, such as education, technology, talent and the Qinchuangyuan innovation-driven platform. He believes that these are important factors that attract companies to invest in Xi'an.

"We will increase investment and accelerate the construction of a localized intelligent computer manufacturing production line and R&D center project, so as to provide domestic and foreign customers with high-quality products, professional services and customized solutions," Hu added.
